PAM - Presence and Availability Management
The integration with SourceTech Tellus® PAM™ enhances your company's profile by providing your customers with accurate information about your whereabouts, this helps to give a professional treatment to the customers. The PAM system lifts the presence from “rich presence” to “true presence”. In daily speaking, we use to talk about presence in a quite inattentive way, only focus on the word “presence” and normally forget its most important antonym: “absence”.
When a person is unreachable, we do want to know when the person is expected to be available, and in some cases it would be appropriate to know the cause of the absence; out to lunch, in a meeting, or gone for the day. By providing this information to your customers that ends up in the switchboard, you will certainly give a more profess ional approach. The source of the absences is gathered from anything like the users calendar application, the Tellus web client, a connected time system to the free mini application: MyTellus.
MyTellus™
MyTellus™ is a small windows application for Tellus users. With this application the users gets easy acces to the most common functions in Tellus. MyTellus™ runs in the background and is displayed as a icon in tray bar, at the left side of the clock. The color of the icon displayes the users current status, green for present and red for absent.
Presence & Absence
In Tellus web the users can decide what should happen with the telephone during a meeting for example. The telephone can be diverted to the operator or to a voicemail system that automatically will play a accurant referral message to the caller. Tellus offers several ways to control your presence and absence - via the webclient, through MyTellus™, from the phone, via SMS, from the calander or by the voicemail system.
Calendar integration
The PAM system real strength is the possibility to collect whereabouts from many simultaneous sources. The most obvious source is the users calendars. By integrating the most common calendar systems with the built in interpretation of the subject of the calendar item, it will give the system a perfect bird view of all employees presence and absences.
Visit
A module in the Tellus PAM system is the integrated visit management where the recipient can be automatically notified when the visitor has arrived. This module gives you total control of all people that are staying in your office. The company's visitors can easily be registred in the visit system. It's an easy system to work with that makes the daily work more efficient for the receptionist/operator as well as for the users. When the visitors arrives they can be registerd in Tellus Operator, the webclient or in the Self registration Terminal. When the visitor is checked in a message will be sent to the recipient via mail or sms. A label printer can be connected to the visit system, to automatically print the badges after registration. Reports can be created from the system.
