Go with the flow

The call handling in Tellus Operator is developed with the help from operators, for operators. This makes the work with handling calls as smooth as possible. It doesn't matter if you prefer to work only by using your keyboard or by using your mouse, this is the application for you. The application is developed to be a streamlined tool and has a default keyboard layout that will give you a natural flow in your work. The keyboard shortcuts are fully customized, so that you can change them after your wishes.

The call handling in Tellus Operator are going to be a natural extension of your mind when you work. You can use the keyboard or combine it with your mouse to quickly handle calls. You can customize the keyboard layout to let you control almost every aspect of your workflow. Tellus Operator is compatible with the Alcatel-Lucent USB-keyboard, but you can use any type of keyboard.

Busy lamp field

The busy lamp field is great when you want to get realtime status on the users. You can add/modify/delete the supervised objects and design the layout in one or several tabs. Rename the tabs and even change the orientation of them. When you're not using the BLF field you can simply fold it into the right side of the console.

Drop a message

When you take a note for someone in your office, you will really appreciate the pre-filled message form. This form can contain information about the caller, the recipient and your signature. And you can easily change the information in the form in the operator application. You don't even have to change application to send a message, it is distributed from the Tellus Operator application. With a SMS-gatway the message can be instantly delivered to the users mobile as a SMS.

Present or not present - that's the question

As a receptionist or a switchboard operator you're probably familiar with the situation when you are trying to reach a user at your company, but is unable to do so. Finally you'll have to give up and tell the caller/visitor that you are unable to reach the person and that you don't have any information about when the person will be back. In worst case your company just missed a great deal with a potential new customer.

With the Tellus system you don't have to worry about this any more. By giving the right information about when a user is available you can rescue some important business opportunities. SourceTech Tellus^®PAM™ is an advanced and powerful system, yet very easy when it comes to keeping track of your colleagues presence and absence. You'll know exactly what to say when a person is currently unavailable. The actual return-time and other important information about the user will be shown when a routed call is answered in Tellus Operator. If the system is configured with a connection to your calendar-system, the users events will be shown as absences in the application, giving you a perfect overview of the searched persons presence.

Welcome your visitors

When a visitor arrives to your company, the first person they will meet is probably you. By using SourceTech Tellus^®Visit™ you will be able to give them a professional first impression and you will also get a complete tracking over all the visitors to your company. The visitor can be pre-registered in the system either by the recipient using the Tellus Web or by using the Visit-module in the operator application. To make it even more easy for you SourceTech have developed a easy-to-use self registration application called SourceTech Tellus^®Visit Terminal™. This allows the visitor to register by them self and if a label printer is connected a visit-label will be printed.
