SourceTech Tellus® Operator™ is a modern operator application for Alcatel-Lucents OmniPCX Enterprise with focus on call handling.
With Tellus Operator the receptionist/switchboard operator has an effective tool in the everyday work. Everything that the receptionist/operator might need, is available in Tellus Operator.
Presence and absence
It's very important that the receptionist has the right information about colleagues presence and absence. And sometimes they might have to update a several users status quickly - this is easy to do in Tellus Operator. If the system is connected to the calendar system the users entries will become absences in the Tellus system.
When a visitor arrives the receptionist/operator has full control with the integrated component SourceTech Tellus® Visit™. Upcoming, registred visitors will be visible in the system.
To leave a message to a user in Tellus is easy. It is possible tocreatea message templatethat allowsspecific informationto be automatically filledin the messagewhen a new messagewindowopens. The operator can choose how the message should be sent, as a SMS (if the system is connected to a SMS-gateway) or as a email.
Plug-in
Except all the built in functions there are unlimited opportunities for extra functions. One example of this is a plug-in that can show information from Alcatel-Lucents application "My Teamwork".
Flexibility
Several settings in Tellus Operator are personal for the logged in operator. Colors, language etc can easily be changed to fit the operators needs.
