Find
It's easy to search for a colleague in Tellus web. Information about address, phone number, presence etc. is easy to find. There are several ways to perform a search. Use quick search to get information fast, you will see a detailed pane with your colleagues picture, number information and so on. A more advanced search is also available, use the drop list to choose criterias for the search. The "click & search" function gives an overview over the organization structure and the staff that belongs to the respective department. All information links to similar information, just keep clicking to find what you are looking for!
Profiles
If a user has multiple telephones, these can act as profiles. A profile is, by definition, a phone where the user is currently available. In the webclient a drop-down menu is visible when the profile is activated. The profiles can be changed in Tellus Web and in MyTellus™. This is a easy way to forward calls.
Presence at your fingertips
In Tellus web the users can decide what should happen with the telephone during a meeting for example. The telephone can be diverted to the operator or to a voicemail system, that automatically will play a accurat referral message to the caller. Tellus offers several ways to control your presence and absence - via the webclient, through MyTellus™, from the phone, via SMS, from the calendar or by the voicemail system.
In Tellus web it is possible to register upcoming visitors. This is a good way to give the visitors a professional welcome, the receptionist have control over the visitors and can print out visitor badges and if the system is connected to a SMS-gateway the recipient can recieve a SMS when the visitor is checked in.
Every user in Tellus web can create a personal schedule. Add working time and automatical absense to make the telephone automatically set absence. Thanks to this the user does not have to remember to close the phone when it's time for lunch or time to go home for the day. If the absence doesn't accur at the same time every week it is easier to put it in via MyTellus™ or the Absence management screen in Tellus Web.
Micro blog
Every Tellus user has a micro blog. In the webclient and in MyTellus™ it is possible to update this. The status update is displayed in the webclient and in SourceTech Tellus®Operator™. It is possible to create a lists of the persons that you would like to follow.
