Keep things organizedRoles

It's essential to have order in every kind of system. For you as an administrator we've made this easy for you. First, you don't need to install any software, all you need is a web-browser which is standard in all graphical operating systems today. All administration is done in Tellus Web.

Roles

What you are able to do in the Tellus system is defined by your role. The role consists of a set of features that can be on or off. Every user belongs to a role, and you as administrator can normally create/modify/delete roles to fit your needs.

Multiedit

If you are going to make a large change for several users or phones you'll love the multiedit functions in Tellus. Select the items you'd like to update, do your changes and press the save button. -Done!

Mask

Masquerade

Time to time you need to help your colleagues, and in most cases you're able to do that from within the administration pane. But for some specific tasks, like editing the personal schedule, needs to be changed by the user itself. So, how to do that without the ability to get the users password from the system? (Tellus stores a hashed value of the users password that is irreversible to protect the users.) The answer is impersonation! In Tellus we've implemented a function called "Masquerade", this function allows you to become the user without the password simply by clicking a button.

Object oriented

Ok, the first thing you think of when you here "object oriented" is probably a high level programming language as C# or C++. Well, except for the fact that Tellus suite is built using those programming languages we also have an object like architecture for the end product. This means that a user for instance is a kind of object and the same is a phone, then by creating a relation between those you will have a user with a phone - simple as that! The advantage of this way of thinking is obvious when you get in to it. A user can have several phones, and a phone can be  associated with several users. Other examples are titles, organizations, keywords etc. This means that when an organization unit is moved or renamed you'll just have to make the modification for that organization, everything related to this is untouched, still the changes is reflected immediate.

Object

Licensing

If you would like to open up a feature or add more licenses for a specific item you can just place an order to your reseller. Then you'll get a license file in return that you can upload to the system from your browser, compare the new license with the current one, and activate it. This means that you will save time and money for the cost of a technician to do that.

LogsLogging

You will love the logging feature in Tellus. By the rich implementation of logs in the system you can track down issues when they occur. In addition you will have a log where you and the technician can write comments on what's been done, upgrades, how a problem is solved and so on. If a technician would like you to send some logs you simply just enter the e-mail address where to the logs should be sent. The system locates the files, compress them into a single file, and attach them to the e-mail message.

Realtime debug

For those who likes to dig deep into things, the debugging ability is a great tool. You can feel the pulse and breathing of the system in realtime. Together with the logging system this is a powerful tool to get deep understanding of how the system works.
