SourceTech Tellus^® Manager™

Import

With SourceTech Tellus^® Manager™ you can easily import information directly to the Tellus Database, this is very smooth for the administrator and helps to save a lot of time. Included with Tellus Manager are some CSV templates with matching mapping files, to make a easy import to Tellus. You are able to remap coulmns if you would like them to have different information then what they have in the file. In the manager you can supplement the infromation even if it’s not in the file, this makes the system flexible. If some changes where made in the columns it is easy to save these as a template to use at a later time. A file in CSV format with data from another system, could with a template be interpreted, supplemented and imported to Tellus. 

Export

With Tellus Manager you can export the information that is in the database. The advantage with using a export tool is that the information in the database can be export and be integrated in other systems or be edited and imported back to the database. When the file loades up again in the Manager it shows which changes that are made and on which users. The administrator gets a foreseeable view of the information that is in the database. To use the export tool you need to have a special license.

CSV

To import and export Tellus uses files in CSV-format. The Manager reads the data from the file and converts the information in the import to correct information in Tellus. In the export the information i converted back to a CSV file. All information in the file becomes easy to use and by using the common CSV format the information can easily be integrated with other systems.
